said they would continue to use this product after the evaluation. Pro-Matrix received 4-Diamond Rating

“Having used the straight Pro-Matrix bands, this is a natural evolution. The curved shape of the band is perfect for obtaining the ideal restoration shape with minimal burnishing.”

The speed of application of the matrix.

“The speed of application of the matrix. Together with versatility of using a matrix band system, compared to sectional matrices cannot be underestimated in allowing larger restorations to be completed. There is no need to purchase expensive clamps or application forceps either! LIFE JUST GOT EASIER!”

“Pro-Matrix curved disposable matrices were applied to teeth 16 and 25 and stabilised with Curvy anatomical shaped wedges. Initial placement of composite in thin section was made against the Pro-Matrix Curve disposable matrices to allow conversion of the cavity form from Class II to Class I as soon as possible with attention paid to the marginal ridge form and cuspal shape. The restorations were completed using a cusp-by-cusp approach to minimise C-factor stress and the risk of marginal gap formation.”

Dr Robson has trained with VOCO in Germany and has extensive knowledge of composites and has taught GDPs, foundation dentists, therapists and undergraduates. He has worked in private practice since 2004 and has owned a practice in the north east of England since 2010. They were easy to use and dispose. I didn’t have that fear of cutting my fingers and could easily adapt the band to the tooth surface.

I have tried the new curved Pro-Matrix system and found it to be very easy to use, less
fiddly than other systems and patients don’t even notice it. Thoroughly recommend it!

“Pro-Matrix Curve was used over the rubber dam clamp. This is often not possible with other matrix systems. I was able to produce a reasonable restoration and the patient was delighted with the outcome. I plan to place a crown in future.”

Pro-Matrix Curve

Absolutely love the new curved Pro Matrix, it’s really quick and easy to fit, comfortable for the patient and adapts to the shape of the tooth so much better than other bands!

“Pro-Matrix Curve is very easy to place, and incredibly versatile and can be used on smaller
Class II cavities to more challenging cases with wider boxes and cusp replacement.”
